RONI HORN, a.k.a. (GROUP I), 2008-09
Roni Horn (b. 1955). Horn’s exploration of the variability of identity continues in her recent photographic work. In paired, seemingly identical images taken seconds apart, slight shifts in perception reveal the elusive and conditioned nature of identity. For her extensive series of books, To Place, Horn finds much inspiration in Iceland, a land she describes as “in a constant state of becoming.”
