Overview

Andreas Eriksson (b. 1975, Sweden)
Eriksson studied at The Royal University College of Fine Arts, Stockholm, Sweden. In 2014-2015 Eriksson was the subject of a major solo exhibition Roundabouts which toured from Bonniers Konsthall, Stockholm, Sweden to Trondheim Kunstmuseum, Norway; Centre PasquArt, Biel, Switzerland and Reykjavik Art Museum, Iceland. Other recent solo shows include Stephen Friedman Gallery, London; Baloise Bank, Basel; The Imminence of Poetics 30th Sao Paulo Biennial, Sao Paulo; The Nordic Pavilion, Venice Biennale 2011, Venice. Andreas Eriksson lives and works in Medelplana, Sweden.

 

Mairead O’hEocha (b. Ireland)
O’hEocha received her BA from the College of Art and Design in Dublin and her MA from Goldsmiths College in London. Notable exhibitions include Lewis Glucksman Gallery, Cork; Broad Art Museum, Michigan; Coup de Ville Contemporary Art Festival, WARP, Belgium; The Mud of Compound Experience, Hong Kong and Mother’s Tankstation in collaboration with Leo Xu Projects. Mairead O´hEocha lives and works in Dublin.

 

Silke Otto-Knapp (b. 1970, Germany)
Otto-Knapp received a Degree in Cultural Studies at the University of Hildesheim in Germany and her Master of Fine Arts at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London 1996. Otto-Knapp´s solo exhibitions include: Overduin and Kite, Los Angeles, Galerie Buchholz, Berlin; The Berkeley Art Museum/Pacific Film Archive, Berkeley; Greengrassi, London; Gavin Brown’s Enterprise, New York; Banff Centre, Canada; Modern Art Oxford and Tate Britain, London. Silke Otto-Knapp lives and works in Los Angeles.

 

Melanie Smith (b. 1965, UK)
Smith received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Reading. Her work has been exhibited in numerous national and international institutions, including: MoMA PS1, New York; UCLA´S, Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; ICA, Boston; Tate Liverpool; Tate Modern, London; South London Gallery, London; CAMH, Houston; CCA, Vilnius; Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, Rotterdam and Museo de Arte de Lima. She represented Mexico at the Venice Biennale in 2011. Melanie Smith lives and works in Mexico City.

 

Lara Viana (b. 1970, Brazil)

Viana completed her BA degree from Falmouth School of Art in 1995 and MFA from the Royal College of Art in London in 2007. Recent solo exhibitions include Domobaal, London; Galerie De Expeditie, Amsterdam; Conrads Galerie Düsseldorf and Permanent Gallery/The Regency Town House, Brighton. In 2011 she received the São Paulo Biennal Exhibiting Award. Lara Viana lives and works in Salvador and London.

 

James White (b. 1967, UK)

White received his BA from the Wimbledon School of Art in 1989 and his MA from the Royal College of Art in 1991. Recent solo exhibitions include: Sean Kelly, New York; The Goss-Michael Foundation, Dallas. Group exhibitions include: Kunsthal, Rotterdam; Weserburg Museum of Modern Art, Bremen; Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), London. White was a John Moore´s 24 prize-winner in 2008. White lives and works in London.
