"Somewhere along those lines", opens on Saturday 14 May at 15.00 in the Reykjanesbær Art Museum.
The exhibition attempts to shed light on the different approaches and working methods of artists who deal with mapping, location and registration in their work.
Some of the artists who have work in the exhibition work systematically based on the material, while others have headed in other directions. The selection of works spans a period of 30 years, some of which were made specifically for the exhibition.
Geographical maps and other memorabilia from the Reykjanesbær Regional Museum are woven into the exhibition, creating an exciting conversation between the art world and the real world.
